Growing up the Chitenge print was traditionally limited to women. They would wear it during occasions ranging from house chores to traditional weddings. It has recently elvoved into what we see today
For this look I chose to pair the print with a dark Coat, white beaded necklace, a button up T-shirt and my favorite pair of tombs canvas. Overall I like how all the elements were able to compliment each other while allowing the chitenge To be the star of the day. I am not one for bold prints and colors but with this look I was able to push my boundaries but still kept to my trademark dark tones with the coat.
Just in case the African weather decides to proove rather difficult the look would Still be fantastic without the coat.
